in the Lot Valley

The Lot Valley Cycling Project aims to connect the confluence of the Garonne – and therefore the Two Seas Canal – with Mount Lozère, thus travelling up the Lot River to its source. This route crosses the departments of Lot-et-Garonne, Lot, Aveyron, Cantal and Lozère.
A first route of 160 km already exists between the confluence of the Lot and the Garonne in Aiguillon and Cahors.

Lovers of natural bike rides in search of challenges, let yourself be tempted by this route through the department of Aveyron and the south of Cantal – from Capdenac to La Canourgue en Lozère.

You will discover along the Lot, amid lush and unspoiled nature, many sites and villages teeming with character and with lauze roofs. Stroll through their picturesque streets and admire their remarkable heritage buildings. Take the time to stop at the markets to meet our local producers and taste the many local specialities.

Depending on the season, do not hesitate to refresh yourself by enjoying a boat or canoe trip, or simply by stopping by the water.
